  • My Van: 2015 Vivaro

I recently bought some Roof Bars and Side Rails for my Vivaro from

The products seem OK but the supplied instructions are absolutely useless (missing parts made this harder). Because I am lazy I took my Van to my local mechanic to fit the side rails because he has a hydraulic lift. I left the Van with him with assurances he would be done within the hour, after all, you just need to attach four brackets into existing holes in the chassis, how hard could it be?

I returned an hour later to find him scratching his head. The brackets are handed and it was only trial and error that got them fitted properly (some stickers on the brackets indicating their position would have saved lots of time).

He also said the fasteners were very poor quality and they would bend easily  :smack:

If you buy products from be ready for a headache.
